Jimmy Choo Cruise 2009 by Terry Richardson

Here’s a splash of Summer to spice up your weekend if you are having cold weather. The Jimmy Choo cruise 2009 ad campaign by the masterful Terry Richardson. The female model is Aleksandra Nilsen but I have no idea who the male model is. For what it’s worth, I like what I see of him ;)

I ♥ Andres by Milan Vukmirovic (Part II): Getting Intimate

Like I promised you in the first part of ‘I Andres’, here is the remainder of the L’Officiel Hommes editorial. And while that first part was all about Milan Vukmirovic playing paparazzo on Andres Velencoso Segura, this part is where Andres lets down his guard in an intimate studio setting. The mostly black and white images show a beautiful man who is comfortable with his body and confident in himself.

Best of 2008: Sean Opry by Camilla Akrans

I just came upon this vivid editorial by Camilla Akrans featuring Sean Opry from the Spring-Summer 2008 issue of Numéro Homme (issue #15) and I had to include it in our Best of 2008 section. I’ve been falling in love with Camilla’s color style and the fact that it features Sean makes it a double yummy.

Cheeky Bedside Lamp Has a Surprise For You!

Ok, so this is not photography related, but each now and then I will pepper the blog with random interesting posts to keep things exciting. The Bedside Lamp is designed by Matteo Cibic as part of his Bibelot Sexual series. The lamp has a hidden surprise integrated into the design. An adult toy made from medical-grade silicon and available in assorted colors is housed inside the lamp. When that toy is removed, the lamp switches from its default white light into a romantic red light to set up the mood. A perfect hideaway for those still living at home, just make sure mom doesn’t play with the lamp while cleaning.

The Bedside Lamp will be part of the Love Design exhibit which is set to take place between 22-27 April 2009 in Milan, Italy as part of Salone Del Mobile Exhibition. Twenty Designers are displaying designs related to Love in the exhibit.

Aaron O'Connell by Dean Isidro For NY Times

I usually try to write something somewhat intelligent to accompany photoshoots, but all I can say when I look at this New York Times editorial by photographer Dean Isidro is, “Damn, Aaron O'Connell has a hot butt!”

Abandon Your Nightmares & Fantasize About This!

Clothing and footwear brand Melting’Pot has a new ad campaign that invites you, “This Summer, abandon your nightmares.” Their brand slogan is, “I dream. I am” so don that sexy jeans, abandon your nightmares (although these monsters look damn adorable in the ads!)  and start dreaming.

The ads were photographed by Vincent Dixon for ad agency Armando Testa (Turin, Italy)

The previous set of ads for Meltin’Pot also had some nice eye candy. They added a modern twist to fairy tales. How about prince charming dressed in a leather jacket and waking up sleeping beauty with a car jumper?
